The Family Education & Support Centre hope you and your loved ones are keeping healthy and feel well supported during this time. As of the announcement from Dr. Henry this afternoon, the agency has postponed all support groups, workshops, and programs until further notice. If you have not been notified, please call our reception.
Walk-in visits remain unavailable at this time. Our reception staff will be available by phone or email for your convenience.

Under the Tree Childcare Centre provides your child with the opportunity for developing social and emotional skills, problem solving and learning to work together! Our experienced teachers facilitate through the promotion of meaningful investigation, giving your child the best chance to build skills in language, reading, math and science. PARENTING THROUGH THE AGES AND STAGES
CONFLICT RESOLUTION & ANGER PROGRAMMING
Programming for adults (18+) requiring skills that support healthy boundaries, communications and family life
STEP E PARENTING YOUNG CHILDREN
A FREE program: Developmentally appropriate parenting skills for children ages 0-6. Programming for children 0-6 is available.

CONNECT PARENT GROUP
A FREE 10 week program. Supporting Parents and caregivers with concerns about their child aged 8-17's behaviours and emotional health.

MENTAL WELLNESS PARENTING
Designed to meet the specific needs of parents living with mental health challenges including anxiety and/or depression while parenting. No diagnosis needed to attend this program. Programming for children 0-6 is available.

IMMIGRANT PARENTING PROGRAM
A FREE program. This program will inform and educate parents and caregivers about parenting as immigrants to Canada.

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
This 2-part course looks at the fundamentals of any adult relationship; including the foundations, needs, wants and learning new communication skills.

CARING DADS
A 17 intensive group intervention program for men who have, or are at risk of abusing, neglecting, or exposing their children to domestic violence.

MEN'S ANGER MANAGEMENT
Men’s Anger Management deals with the complex nature of anger, recognizing triggers, alternative methods of expression, and how to diffuse anger.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING
ANGER MONSTERS
Childre's Program - 8-12 year olds learn what anger is, their triggers and tools for learning to control their anger.
Parent’s program – Features skills from Neufeld Institute, anger cycles, goals of behaviour, how to support their child’s efforts to tame their anger monster, and calming techniques.

I AM AWESOME- SPRING AND SUMMER CAMPS
This course is designed to help young individuals with communication styles, triggers, “I” statements, looking at their special inner qualities, how to deal with stress and how to be a friend.

SCHOOL'S COOL
We are offering 2 sessions of this eight week kindergarten readiness program for children entering school September 2020. Priority will be given to children who have not attended preschool.
