THE FAMILY EDUCATION AND SUPPORT CENTRE ANTI-RACISM STATEMENT
June 5, 2020
In recent days, we have witnessed the news coverage of Anti-Racism protests around the world. The events leading up to these protests along with many acts of racism experiences every day by many people in our society, remind us that we must speak up against racism in all its forms.
These powerful protests that we are witnessing right now can help us understand that we need to listen and believe and learn and accept the truth of those experiencing racism.
Our agency is committed to listening, believing and standing up against any form of racism and discrimination and will work tirelessly to combat racist behaviours practices wherever and whenever we can.
It is critical that we continue to work together to embrace diversity and multiculturalism. Now and moving forward, we stand together to support those experiencing racism around the globe.
